The Latest in High Performance Direct Valve Automation

Process valve automation has taken another step toward simplicity and economy with the introduction of actuator ready ball valves.  This design totally eliminates the manual lever handle, but instead incorporates an ISO standard mounting pad on top of the valve allowing the actuator to link directly to the valve body.  This arrangement allows for a more compact assembly profile and eliminates the possibility of stem adapter misalignment.  The package is more economical because it no longer requires machining of linking bracketry.

Early designs of the direct mount had their short fall: the inability to correct stem leakage without disassembly.  The latest generation incorporates a stem arrangement that includes packing gland, thrust bearing, stem packing and Bellville washers to prevent stem leakage, and a patented “MC Nut”, adjustable packing nut for in-service packing maintenance.

The direct mount valve is available in two-piece and three-piece construction, a variety of seat material for service up to 500deg F, pressure rating to 2000 PSI, and in bronze or stainless steel body material.
